Office / Warehouse Fire Damaged Refurbishment

PJ Services were awarded a £400,000 fire damage repair contract.

The warehouse and part of the existing offices had considerable fire and smoke damage. The work involved replacing existing asbestos roof with modern metal cladding, rebuilding of welfare block, renewal of mechanical and electrical installation and specialist cleaning of smoke damaged areas.

The contract was for Southerns Office Interiors.  Part of the offices was unaffected by the fire and they wanted to continue operating from the premises.  This meant we had to work closely with the client to limit disruption and ensure the workplace was safe at all times.

The repairs have left our client with a virtually new warehouse and modern refurbished offices.  The contract was completed within the agreed timescales and budget.
